Berry Quarry, North Vernon, Jennings Co., Indiana, USA
description:
A wonderful extremely attractive and aesthetic large cabinet specimen from this classic Indiana locality. Amber colored almost gemmy semi-lustrous crystals of calcite, the biggest double terminated into 6.0 cm in size, over the front of a an 18.0 x 15.5 x 6.0 cm limestone matrix. A semi-lustrous grouping of black sphalerite crystals 2.0 cm across present as well. This sits up beautifully by itself for display on a sawn shaped base. I think in excellent condition. Good cabinet and large cabinet display pieces showing this combination from this locality are rarely seen available today. Shipping weight: 3.81 pounds.
Size: 18.0 x 15.5 x 6.0 cm (large-cabinet)
