description:
Glassy colorless crystals of calcite to 3.5 cm in size across the top of this matrix was sphalerite and pyrite. Marcasite present as inclusions within the calcite crystal showing neat phantom crystals. The majority of the calcite crystals are transparent. Slight chipping on the upper backside, this out of view when the piece is properly displayed and I think still in very good condition for such an old classic.
