description: Lustrous black crystals of cassiterite measuring to 0.7 cm in size scattered richly throughout the top of an 11.0 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm quartz crystal covered matrix. Brown goethite present as well. Very minimal micro-chipping present. The bottom of the matrix is been sawn flat and the piece displays perfectly upon the surface. Very good hands sized crystallized example for cassiterite from Cornwall. Shipping weight: 1.36 pounds. Ex Ed Raines collection.
