description: Glassy slightly translucent crystals of cassiterite to 1.8 cm across over the top of a 9.0 x 6.0 x 3.0 cm matrix. Very minimal micro-chipping present. Quartz present as well. An exceptional old-time piece, these are very large and choice crystals for the species from this famous old tin mining district. In very good condition. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
