description: Superb lustrous black twinned crystals of cassiterite to 1.5 cm across perched nicely upon a cluster of glassy transparent quartz crystals. Some chipping present, this confined to the quartz crystals, the cassiterite in very good condition, especially the main twinned crystal. Measures 6.0 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm in size. Excellent for the species from this old classic locality. Shipping weight: 0.17 pounds. Ex Ed Raines collection.
