description: This is an outstanding example for the species with translucent large sharp perfect crystals of cassiterite measuring to 4.0 cm in size across the front of this matrix with crystallized quartz. This was collected back in 2002 when this material was available on the market. At that time however large matrix examples like this were quite rare. Most examples for miniature and thumbnail sized with little matrix. This one is super.
