description: Lustrous sharp black slightly translucent crystals of cassiterite measuring to 1.0 cm in size on a crystallized quartz matrix. Slight micro-chipping to some of the quartz crystals, the cassiterite still perfect and overall I think the piece in good condition. Quite aesthetic for the species.
