Blue mostly gemmy lustrous crystals of Celestine, some double terminated set aesthetically up on matrix with minor calcite. In excellent condition, very fine for the species from this locality. Collected in the 1970s.

The Pugh Quarry, located near Custar in Wood County, Ohio, is a prominent industrial site known for both its commercial limestone production and its significance to mineralogy. Established in the mid-20th century, the quarry has long served as a source of crushed stone and aggregate for regional construction projects. Geologically, the quarry exposes the Middle Devonian Dundee Limestone and the overlying Ohio Shale. The Dundee Limestone is particularly notable here for its high carbonate content and its fascinating fossil record, including various marine invertebrates. To mineral collectors, the site is renowned for its aesthetic crystals found within vugs and fractures; it has historically produced exceptional specimens of iridescent fluorite, calcite, celestine, and pyrite.
