A spray of flat lying white Celestine crystals on matrix. Classic material for the species and locality.

The material from Yonghe is also known in the mineral trade as chrysanthum stone, a name used for decorative pieces showing radiating crystal patterns within the host rock. These formations developed as celestine crystallized in fractures under relatively low temperature conditions, sometimes producing star like or flower like structures.
