Cerussite
specimen number:
9242127
location:
Tynagh Mine, Co. Galway, Ireland
description:
An excellent example for the species from this locality, colorless to slightly bluish crystals of cerussite in groupings to 0.8 cm across are scattered richly over the top of this 11.0 x 9.0 x 4.0 cm matrix. Collected in September, 1980, by noted British mineral dealer Richard Barstow. He was responsible for bringing most of these to market during this time.. The Barstow label that comes with this is a white collection label, not one of his normal green stock labels, showing that this actually was good enough to be part of his collection. Shipping weight: 1.83 pounds. Ex Charles Noll collection.
Size: 11.0 x 9.0 x 4.0 cm (cabinet)
Collection: Charles Noll
