description: Wonderful old classic from Connecticut, semi lustrous sharp crystals of chalcocite to 1.5 cm in size across the top of this matrix with crystallized calcite. One crystal missing at the far left of the piece, this missing at the matrix, everything else in great condition here. Previous label from the collection of E. Mitchell Gunnell. This label notes that the piece was acquired from Ward's in 1935.
