Chalcopyrite
specimen number:
7062045
location:
Sweetwater Mine, Viburnum Trend District, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA
description: A spectacular intensely colored museum size display piece showing brilliant blue and purple iridescent chalcopyrite crystals, these measuring to 0.5 cm in size, completely covering the top of a 30.0 x 18.0 x 11.5 cm matrix. Slight chipping is present as seen, to be expected on a piece this large with so many crystals present. I think this in very good condition. The color is absolutely phenomenal and the piece will stand out from across a room when displayed in the showcase. Shipping weight: 11.04 pounds.
Size: 30.0 x 18.0 x 11.5 cm (large-cabinet)
