Chlorothionite is a rare potassium copper sulfate chloride mineral that forms in arid, oxidizing environments, typically in volcanic fumaroles or in the oxidized zones of copper deposits. This old example shows light bluish crusts very rich across the top of matrix. Quite choice for this rare mineral. Said to have been collected in 1926, the specimen comes with several antique labels as shown at the end of the video.
