Geologically, the deposit sits within the Precambrian metamorphic crystalline basement and greenstone-related mobile belts of western Mozambique near the Zimbabwe border, where pegmatitic and hydrothermal intrusions cut through ancient crustal rocks, creating favorable conditions for beryllium-rich mineralizations.
