Chrysocolla-on-Malachite-pseudomorph
specimen number:
1952060
location:
Luputo Mine, Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo
description:
Very pretty large cabinet example showing prismatic crystals of what were once most likely azurite to almost 4.0 cm in length now replaced by green malachite and coated with attractive deep blue chrysocolla. Sits perfectly by itself and a sawn base and measures 17.5 x 11.5 x 8.5 cm in size. Shows nicely all around, I think this is in very fine condition. Shipping weight: 2.71 pounds.
Size: 17.5 x 11.5 x 8.5 cm (large-cabinet)
