Chrysocolla pseudomorph
specimen number:
4551154
location:
Ray mine, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA
description:
A wonderful example for one of these Arizona classics, prismatic crystals measuring to 2.2 cm in height coming off matrix and replaced by chrysocolla. Many people refer to these as previously being gypsum crystals, others have called them azurite. These are almost always damaged, this one is in really top condition.
