Ojibway Mine, Keweenaw Co., Michigan, USA
description:
Beautifully crystallized native copper aesthetic in a cluster with massive calcite on its base. This is in great condition and has an excellent patina. This excellent old-timer comes with several labels from the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum of Michigan Tech collection. It is quite possible the specimen was at one time part of an early curator of this collection named Jean Petermann Kemp, and prior to that in the famous John T. Reeder collection.
