Very fine and choice example for this important locality showing crystallized native copper forming a cast after a now gone extremely large cuprite crystal that had been 3.5 cm in size across. A second-generation of smaller cuprite crystals are scattered over the top of the crystallized copper. In outstanding condition and complete all-around, this stands perfectly by itself for display. Measures 6.5 x 5.5 x 5.0 cm overall. Most of these specimens I believe are actually copper crystals coating cuprite, though many have been labeled this pseudomorph specimens. This one is a true cast and is exceptional.
