Copper on Chabazite
specimen number:
4811307
location:
Springfield Butte, Lane Co., Oregon, USA
description:
Interesting locality example for the species, small groupings of crystallized native copper scattered across the top of this matrix mostly covered by white lustrous crystals of chabazite. This would be an impressive example for chabazite from this locality, the addition of the native copper makes this quite nice. The chabazite crystals measure to 2.5 cm in size.
Size: 8.5 x 5.0 x 3.0 cm (small-cabinet)
