description:
Slightly rounded but still very nice pinkish red crystal of ruby 1.2 cm in size embedded upon a calcite cleavage matrix. While there is no previous label with the specimen, I remember this being in the collection of Lloyd Tate. This is brightly fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light this is shown at the end of the video.
