Fine large classic example for this mining district. Platy iridescent crystals of covellite to 2.5 cm in size are covering the top of this matrix with pyrite and quartz. Typical of these there is slight chipping present, I think this still very fine. The specimen comes with an antique label from well-known dealer Hugh Ford.
