Beautiful brilliant orange red prismatic crystals of crocoite measuring to 3.2 cm in length set nicely upon a dark limonite matrix measuring 9.0 x 6.0 x 4.0 cm. Typical of these there is minor contacting present, this due to the tight pockets in the mine. The color and luster, as well as the arrangement of the crystals, is very pleasing to the eye. Nice example for the species. Shipping weight: 1.85 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
