Lustrous deep red sharply formed crystals of cuprite to 3.0 cm in size forming a 5.0 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm cluster with very little attached matrix. Minor green malachite present as well. Most of these were coated completely with malachite this one does not appear to have had the malachite removed as the luster is very fine. In exceptional example from the locality. With a strong backlighting, as seen in one of the photos, this is a deep red translucent crystal grouping. Shipping weight: 0.18 pounds.
