A wonderful example of this Tsumeb classic, glassy slightly translucent emerald green sharp crystals of dioptase measuring to 2.2 cm in size or across the top of this matrix with minor calcite. The specimen is in super condition. This is ex Erik Loew collection. The specimen was collected from the 31st level of the mine in the East 19th stope, in 1976. This area of the mine was known as the dioptase stope.
