description: Classic Tsumeb specimen with sharp undamaged rhombohedral crystals of colorless translucent calcite to 2.8 cm across covering the front of a 10.0 x 10.0 x 5.0 cm matrix. This sits perfectly by itself for display. Colorful and very showy. On many crystals the dioptase only coats the center areas of the calcite crystal, leaving the edges as translucent calcite. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
