description: A very attractive combination piece showing deep slightly translucent green thick crystals of dioptase as large as 1.7 cm in size scattered over the top of a very pale blue acicular crystallized shattuckite matrix. These appear to a form casts after a previous species, which appears to been scalenohedral calcite crystals. Very interesting and quite neat, this is in very good condition and has minor malachite present as well. Measures 9.5 x 7.5 x 4.0 cm overall. Ex Jordi Povill collection.
