Recently a small find of this material was made in Morocco and most made its debut at the 2017 two show. This piece came to us side of a collection in Eastern Europe previous to the show. The quality is simply outstanding. Large thin sharply formed undamaged crystals to 2.5 cm across are standing up neatly from a thin matrix. Spongy crystallized native copper is scattered throughout. This almost appears to be native silver but I think copper makes more sense? The analysis on the show inter-layered djurleite and chalcocite. The specimen measures 6.5 x 5.0 x 2.5 cm in size. This shows well all around and the quality is outstanding for this rare copper sulfide.
