Classic old time specimen from Brazil, this showing a lustrous purplish red elbaite crystal 5.7 cm in length, 2.5 cm in thickness, embedded on a feldspar matrix with crystallized cookeite. This is in really good condition. One tiny fracture across the center of the crystal is completely natural and solid, I do not believe that the piece is been repaired.
