Lustrous deep green to almost black prismatic epidote crystals to 3.0 cm in length on a matrix of scalenohedral crystals of calcite, the largest of these 3.0 cm in size. In good condition as seen, the calcite crystals show slight translucency. Nice combination piece from this classic locality.
