description: A wonderful grouping of large thick lustrous deep green epidote crystals, this hosting a colorless gemmy Japan law twin quartz crystal right in front. The the twin quartz crystal measures 1.0 cm across. This is in very good condition all around. This specimen was collected by team of Ed Over and Arthur Montgomery in the 1930's. The project was funded by the Smithsonian Institution using Roebling funds and overseen by Ed Henderson of the Smithsonian.
