description:

A superb epidote specimen from this classic locality with to enter grown crystals, both deep green in color and incredibly lustrous, forming a matrix less cluster that is crystallized all around. Gemmy colorless quartz crystals to 1.5 cm in length present as well. The luster on this is exceptional in the piece displays beautifully on its own.  This specimen is figured in the book American Mineral Treasures on page 32.
