description:
Lustrous green bladed crystals of epidote measuring to almost 1.0 cm in size are scattered richly across the top of this glassy quartz crystal matrix. The quartz crystals are amethystine in color due to inclusions of hematite. Micro-chipping present but minimal, I think that the specimen is in good condition. This would have been collected in the middle 2000's.
