This is a constructed specimen, showing a large double terminated thick fluorapatite crystal 13.5 cm in length glued onto an orange massive calcite matrix. This is the correct matrix that these occur on, but this piece has been sawn in the fluorapatite crystal glued onto the sawn base. This is an awfully good example for fluorapatite based on the size and sharpness of the crystal.
