The Robbins Mine was a late 19th-century copper prospect located in Keweenaw County, Michigan, near Phoenix or Vaughnsville. Operating details and exact opening dates remain largely unrecorded in major historical archives, but the site was active during the region's copper boom and ultimately closed around 1921. Geologically, the mine is situated within the Keweenaw Peninsula's famous Precambrian Jacobsville Sandstone and Portage Lake Lava Series formations, where native copper deposits occur heavily within fissure veins and basaltic flows.
