Two different generations of crystallization present, the first acting as a sort of matrix are colorless partly gemmy crystals of cubic fluorite. The second generation consist of gemmy purple crystals kind of elongated in measuring to 1.0 cm in size. In good condition with very minimal chipping present. This was self collected in the late 1990s. Unusual locality example for the species.

The Hammam-Zriba Mine, located near Zriba-Village in the Zaghouan province of northeastern Tunisia, is a prominent fluorite and barite mining district. Geologically, the deposit is situated along the major regional Zaghouan Fault zone, where stratabound and vein-type mineralization formed within Jurassic carbonates and Cretaceous sedimentary sequences through the circulation of hydrothermal basinal brines. Mineralogically, the deposit is famous for its abundant fluorite and barite, often displaying striking banded structures, alongside subordinate sulfides like sphalerite and galena. Historically, modern commercial exploitation of the deposit began during the late 20th century, with intensive industrial production taking place primarily from 1970 until operations wound down in 1992.
