description:
A cluster of intergrown fluorite crystals; dominated by (100) with (110) modifications. The cube faces are very lustrous but the dodecahedral faces are pitted. The bottom of the specimen is covered with a druse of calcite. The fluorite is deep indigo along its bottom but is colorless throughout most of the crystals. Because you view the specimen looking towards the bottom the entire xls look purple. The crystals are essentially flawless transparent. The largest crystal is 1.6 cm on edge.
