Light purple gemmy and lustrous cubic crystals of fluorite measuring to 0.7 cm on edge scattered richly across the top of this matrix. This is in good condition and makes for a an attractive example for the species from this famous Mexican locality. The fluorite crystals are intensely red fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light.
