Fluorite
specimen number:
1651810
location:
Fall Hill Quarry, Ashover, Derbyshire, England, UK
description:
Banded masses of what is known as Blue John fluorite, the front of this covered with deep purple semi lustrous crystals of fluorite averaging 0.3 cm in size. In good condition with minimal micro-damage present, I think in very nice well crystallized cabinet piece for this area.
