Fluorite
specimen number:
1652070
location:
Hammam Zriba Mine, Zagaoun, Tunisia
description:
A cluster of colorless semi lustrous highly translucent cubic fluorite crystals with little attached matrix. Brightly fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light. This is in great condition. Very unusual locality example for the species. This one would have been collected by Don Edwards and myself in the late 1990s. This was undoubtedly one of the larger fluorite clusters that we collected.
