Fluorite
specimen number:
1652336
location:
Heights Quarry, Weardale, Co. Durham, England, UK
description:
A large loose partly gemmy and very lustrous green fluorite crystal, this showing penetration twinning. Very little matrix attached on the bottom side. This is in good condition, I think very impressive for the crystal size at this locality. Incredibly fluorescent.
