Fluorite
specimen number:
2013345
location:
May Quarry, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, USA
description:
A wonderfully aesthetic example of this Midwest American classic. A gemmy cubic fluorite crystal 1.7 cm on edge as perched beautifully up on matrix. From the early 1970s. This is in really good condition for one of these with just slight micro-damage present. Examples of fluorite from this locality in this kind of quality are becoming very scarce on the mineral market today. This is complete all around. Collected by Dave Rush.
Size: 3.5 x 2.0 x 2.0 cm (miniature)
Collection: Harris Precht
