Fluorite
specimen number:
2301123
location:
Huanzala Mine, Huallanca, Dos de Mayo, Huanuco, Peru
description: Gorgeous absolute gem quality lustrous pink octahedral crystals of fluorite forming a 7.5 x 4.0 x 2.0 cm cluster. Very light green coloration on the interior. The crystal faces are lustrous and these are quite large. Very minimal micro-chipping is present on the larger crystal to the right, on its lower corner edge. Outside of this, the piece is in excellent condition. A small pyrite crystal is attached on the left side of the cluster. This is naturally crystallized even on the bottom of the specimen. Classic material from the very early 1980s, I think an outstanding small cabinet specimen.
Size: 7.5 x 4.0 x 2.0 cm (small-cabinet)
