Fluorite
specimen number:
2321238
location:
Weardale, Co. Durham, Cumbria, England, UK
description:
Loose very dark glassy translucent, this would be gemmy had it not be so dark, twinned grouping of fluorite without matrix. Some of the faces coated with small calcite crystals. Some chipping as seen, still in good condition I think for this old timer.
Size: 5.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm (miniature)
