Fluorite
specimen number:
8681027
location:
Denton mine, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA
description:
Beautiful gemmy blue lustrous cubic crystals of fluorite measuring to 3.5 cm on edge set attractively up on a limestone matrix. Slight micro-chipping is present as shown in the video. One corner of the prominent crystal at first appears to be damaged, this is completely natural. The specimen is extremely attractive. Previous label from North Star Minerals notes that at one time this was part of the collection of Rick Russell. Collected in the 1980s.
