Glassy gem quality cubic crystals of fluorite, the showing octahedral modifications, measuring to 2.0 cm on edge across the top of a muscovite crystal matrix. The crystals exhibit attractive and interesting phantom crystals. This is in great condition.

The Yindu Mine, situated in the Hexigten Banner of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, is part of a major polymetallic mining district that gained prominence for modern specimen production starting in the early 2010s. Geologically, Yindu is classified as a magmatic-hydrothermal vein-type silver-lead-zinc deposit hosted primarily within quartz diorite intrusions and metamorphic rocks of the regional basement complexes. The mineralization process features complex sulfide-rich ore assemblages containing galena, sphalerite, pyrite, and chalcopyrite, which are frequently overprinted by late-stage hydrothermal phases producing prized mineral specimens characterized by zoned fluorite, quartz, and carbonates.
