This is a large classic Spanish fluorite specimen of the highest quality. Extremely glassy and lustrous deep bluish purple gemmy cubic crystals measuring to 3.5 cm in size are covering the top of this matrix with white bladed crystals of barite. The specimen is in really good condition with just minor cleaving along the extreme edges of the matrix, this is a result from removing the piece from the pocket within the mine. The crystals exhibit color zoning. The luster on this is terrific.
