description: Outstanding fist size example from this classic Cornish locality for fine fluorite. A large grouping of cubic yellow glassy partly transparent fluorite crystals draped with crystals of calcite to 0.8 cm in size. Micro crystals of quartz are covering the front of the piece giving a nice sparkle effect. The specimen sits perfectly by itself for display and measures 9.5 x 7.0 x 6.0 cm. This is cleaved on the backside, and one section on the back appears to have been sawn. From the front in outstanding condition. Very large crystals for the species from this mining area. Ex Ed Raines collection.
