Beautiful translucent rosy purple lustrous crystals of fluorite measuring to 2.2 cm on edge in a cluster with crystallized colorless scalenohedral calcite. Attractive when backlit as seen in the picture and at the end of the video. In super condition. Minor barite present as well.

The Qinglong Mine, located near Dachang in Guizhou Province, China, is a major low-temperature hydrothermal deposit known primarily for antimony, gold, and arsenic mineralization. Historically, mining and exploration in the district intensified to target extensive antimony and mercury resources tied to regional tectonics and fluid migration. Geologically, the deposit is situated within the Youjiang Basin, hosted in sedimentary and volcanic sequences including Permian basaltic units and Triassic carbonate and clastic strata. The orebodies are heavily controlled by fault zones, unconformities, and organic-rich horizons where basinal brines and magmatic-hydrothermal fluids interacted with hydrocarbons. The mine has gained international recognition among mineral collectors for yielding striking crystallized specimens of stibnite, fluorite, and creedite, alongside various secondary alteration minerals.
