Glassy gem quality colorless cubic crystals of fluorite measuring to 2.0 cm on edge across the top of this matrix with crystallized calcite. All of the prominent areas are in good condition, there is some chipping to minor crystals along the lower edges of the matrix. The calcite crystals are brightly fluorescent red under longwave ultraviolet light
