A large open pocket within this 8.0 x 8.0 x 6.5 cm limestone matrix is lined with colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals to 1.0 cm in size. Honey colored translucent cubic crystals of fluorite to 0.7 cm on edge are present as well. Small needlelike crystals of marcasite and tiny pyrite are scattered throughout. Two previous labels called the marcasite millerite, but it is definitely marcasite. Shaped with a trim saw, overall in very good condition. Nice typical example for this locality. Shipping weight: 0.85 pounds. Ex Phil Martin collection.
